Julia Masli’s unique and internationally acclaimed ‘Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha’ returns to Bristol
When Julia Masli’s Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha arrived at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2023, it fast became a sensation, going on to earn a nomination for best show, just as it had done at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival earlier that year.
Since then, it has played both sides of the Atlantic, and has amassed multiple column inches in newspapers for comedy picks of the year, including in Bristol24/7.
Estonian-born Masli is a clown who has taught at the prestigious Ecole Philippe Gaulier in Paris, and produces her own shows, as well as teaching workshops around the world and mentoring other acts.

Her debut solo hour Choosh (2022) “about a migrant’s struggles in the USA”, was amongst the best-reviewed shows at the Fringe that year.
By contrast, Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha has next to no plot, and consequently, no two shows are the same.

Based around the simple premise of solving the problems of audience members, it is at once honest, emotional, beautiful, reassuring, and gloriously silly.
Nearly two years after Masli last toured the show in Bristol, there are now five more chances to see it in 2025, with an end-of-summer run at Bristol Old Vic‘s Weston Studio starting on September 30.
