Creative lockdown: Jayne Corbett

By Lowie Trevena  Thursday Apr 23, 2020

Jayne Corbett is part of the ongoing Bristol24/7 Creative Lockdown series, showcasing how people in Bristol have been getting arty under lockdown.

A mum from Thornbury has created a makeup tutorial spoof that has gained more than 1,000 views.

“I love comedy,” say Jayne Corbett, who works in law enforcement. “For some people music is their thing – I would rather go and see a comedian live than a band! Humour is so important to me. I follow some of the TOWIE stars on Instagram and I found myself watching a serious makeup tutorials and I was fascinated!”

The video is the result of Jayne’s love for humour and inspiration from Instagram. The 48-year-old is considering making an exercise tutorial in the future.

“I am a key worker but am currently at home with my daughter and son who is on the autism spectrum and finding it quite tough at the moment,” says Jayne. “I love making him laugh as much as he makes me laugh.”
