Big lineup announced for The Gaffe’s comedy fundraiser for Kenzie Mac
Originally from Georgina, Canada, Mackenzie Kelly has been living and working in Bristol since September 2023. Within the last year, she has been performing comedy under the name Kenzie Mac.
Her current visa runs out until September 2026, after which point she will need a new one in order to remain in the country legally.
Mac is working full-time as well as taking on odd jobs to help meet the costs of applying for a new visa; however, due to a permanent disability, she is obliged to fly home to Canada every four months for medical treatment, which necessarily eats into the money she is saving.

Kenzie Mac needs to raise £6,000 to meet the costs of her new visa application
In conjunction with The Gaffe Comedy Club, she has launched a comedy fundraiser to help raise the £6,000 she needs for her application.
The event will take place on April 29, and will be hosted by Mac herself, with a bumper lineup of standup talent from Bristol and the south west: Jess Lo, Joe Riley, Omari Douglas, June Tuesday, Paul Hilleard and Harriet Dyer.
