Bristol Baby Book Club hosts panto special for the summer holidays
Since the start of 2024, Bristol Baby Book Club has been offering a monthly group at Bristol Hippodrome’s piano bar, in which guest local readers brings stories to life.
Every month brings a new story, with a different world to explore, and refreshments for the attendant parents and carers.
Timed to coincide with the summer holidays, for August 2025, the club will be temporarily taken over by a one-off special: Bristol Panto Book Club, this time aimed at young children of 3-6 and their families.

Mama G will be sharing her new panto-themed picture book Oh Yes I Am!, featuring storytelling, silly jokes and original songs (written by Moxy from Andy and the Odd Socks).
Bobby lived in a grey world. Full of grey people, leading grey lives. On the outside Bobby looked like a grey person too, but he was hiding something.
One day, Bobby’s mum took him to the pantomime where everything was sparkly and full of colour and Bobby uncovered what the magic of confidence and self-belief can do!
The book will be available for purchase at the event.
