JPS stencils Spartacus on the Queen Shilling
Street artist JPS has paid tribute to the late Welsh actor Andy Whitfield with his latest graffiti in Bristol.
Whitfield, who died aged 39 in 2011 after an 18-month battle with non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma, can be seen in his most well-known role as Spartacus in the Starz television series on the side of the Queen Shilling on Frogmore Street.
It’s only a few yards away from this other piece by JPS, an artist who the Bristol Post regularly confuses for Banksy.
