Illuminated sculpture of Sun on display at Bristol Cathedral
An illuminated sculpture of the Sun is on display in Bristol for the first time.
Suspended within Bristol Cathedral, Helios by Luke Jerram comes after previous works of Earth and the Moon in this space by the Southville artist.
Like these two other installations, the Sun, measuring seven metres in diameter, features detailed surface imagery and is accompanied by a specially composed surround sound composition by Duncan Speakman and Sarah Anderson.
