Banksy unveils his newest piece

A new Banksy piece has been revealed.

In a post to his Instagram on Thursday, the mystery street artist, unveiled the piece: a lighthouse with the words ‘I want to be what you saw in me’ printed across it.

The photo was not accompanied by a caption or location.

While the art is regularly imbued with political meaning or satire, it’s so far unclear what the deeper meaning behind it is, if any at all.

The photo has left fans of the artists frantically speculating over where it is, with no defining features in the photo to give it away.

The art is the first in more than five months, when the Bristolian released Mother and Child in December. The piece made strong references to the traditional depictions of the Madonna and Child.
