An art exhibition in a shipping container
An exhibition of photographs of one of Bristol’s twin towns is on show in a shipping container outside the M Shed.
Photographer Alejandro Acin has photographed some of the most important markets in Guangzhou, China, after working on digitising a vast archive of historical photographs of the same city.
The archive is the University of Bristol’s Historical Photographs of China project, with this initiative inspired by themes that emerge from within the 34,000 images that have been digitised.
EatDrink24/7 Launch Party is back on July 8 2026!
