28 art collectors receive original works from North Bristol Arts Trail artists

By Sarski Anderson  Tuesday Dec 10, 2024

Following a successful weekend on November 23-24, the North Bristol Arts Trail have announced the results of their prize draw to win original works from 28 participating artists.

On a blustery afternoon as Storm Darragh whipped around them, former Bristol mayor George Ferguson joined the group outside Room 212 to pick out the list of winners – drawn from close by in Bishopston, wider Bristol, Swindon and as far away as Liverpool.

Applicants to the competition had to complete ‘art collector passports’ over the trail weekend, gaining a stamp for every venue they visited.

The donated works included painting, drawing, porcelain, etching, jewellery and collage pieces.

Alongside their annual trail, North Bristol Artists run and promote smaller exhibitions through the year, and are always keen to welcome new members to their community of professional and amateur artists.
