Nuffield Health, the UK’s leading healthcare charity, has announced the appointment of Sheryl Krause as hospital director for it’s Clifton hospital, The Chesterfield. The hospital director is responsible for the overall care and satisfaction of patients, consultant engagement and staff and business development.

Sheryl takes up the helm at the £20m, keyhole surgery specialist hospital following two and a half years as head of sales and business development, and nine months as hospital director designate at The Chesterfield.

Nick Costa, Operations Director for Nuffield Health, added: “Sheryl has demonstrated a dynamic and innovative approach to her work throughout her time at Nuffield Health, consistently delivering excellent results and bringing a huge level of energy and enthusiasm to the role. She will be key in Nuffield Health’s ongoing growth and development as her knowledge and experience of our services, as well as her understanding of the local community; will prove invaluable in maintaining and developing our patient offer at the highest level.”

Nuffield Health provides 31 hospitals, 75 fitness & wellbeing gyms and more than 200 corporate facilities nationwide to help people get healthy, and stay healthy. A not-for-profit organisation, it reinvests profits back into the organisation to improve its facilities and services and provide public health education.
