New media studio opens in Bristol
A new media studio has opened in Bristol which includes a green screen, podcast recording suite and photography space.
Future Leap Media Studios has opened in Oakfield Road in Clifton, “bringing high-end media production equipment to local creatives and businesses”.
The studio has opened in the basement of the Old Chapel, which currently houses design consultancy Six on the ground floor and and Future Leap’s co-working space on the first floor.
“It’s so exciting to see Bristol’s creatives and businesses come together in one space to work, create and connect,” said Future Leap’s managing director, Fenna Leake.
“We can’t wait to see how this will change the Bristol media production landscape and Future Leap as a whole.
“We’re proud that we’ve been able to embed our sustainability values into the space.”
Bristol24/7, which is based out of Future Leap’s co-working space in Gloucester Road, has already used the studio to record audio for an upcoming film project.
“The Future Leap podcast space was comfortable, exceptionally quiet and perfect for recording our podcast. We can’t wait to use it again!” added Bristol24/7’s Head of Audience, Meg Houghton-Gilmour.
The Media Studios at Future Leap Clifton are available for wet and dry hire as well as with and without a technician.
Future Leap has partnered with Films@59 and 18Sixty for all equipment hire and post-production needs.
