Dorset-based surfing brand to open first ever UK shopping centre store in Bristol
An international surfing brand with roots in the South West will open its first ever shopping centre store in the UK in Bristol.
Animal, which was first established in 1987 in Poole, Dorset, has signed a ten-year lease to occupy a 5,000 sq ft space within Cribbs (formerly known as the Mall).
The new shop will stock Animal’s full array of sportswear, from surfing and beachwear through to snowboarding kit.
Katie Searle, the director of asset management at Sovereign Centros, who manage services across Cribbs, said: “Leading international brands continue to flock to Cribbs, and we are delighted to welcome Animal as our latest addition.
“Thanks to our extensive shopper base, for many of our brands Cribbs is consistently the best performing store across their UK portfolios.
“We expect Animal to perform well as the brand really resonates with our strong younger shopper demographic.”
