Bristol creative agency ranks among top UK production companies
A Bristol-based creative agency, which counts Manchester United, British Airways and Bristol Beacon among its clientele, has received major recognition for its film and animation production offerings.
Studio Giggle, based at Paintworks in Brislington, has been named in a prestigious top 50 list compiled by EVCOM and Moving Image.
The agency ranked 23rd overall, making it the only creative company from the South West to be included.
In addition, Studio Giggle secured 13th place in the Peer Poll — an exclusive ranking determined by industry professionals — further highlighting its reputation as a highly respected creative force within the UK.

This achievement is a testament to our talented team, our dedication to innovation, and our commitment to delivering exceptional content for events and global brand marketing campaigns,” said Rob King
In 2024, the parent company of Studio Giggle, Distortion Creative Group, appointed Rob King as its new chief executive and investor, as it sets out ambitious plans for both its short- and long-term future.
King said: “This achievement is a testament to our talented team, our dedication to innovation, and our commitment to delivering exceptional content for events and global brand marketing campaigns.
Being recognised not just by EVCOM and Moving Image, but also by our peers, is a real honour.”
Commenting on the company’s success, Studio Giggle’s founder Steve Garratt added: “We’ve been pushing the creative boundaries of production for nearly 20 years, and it’s a credit to the team that our drive is as strong as ever.
“As we embark on our most ambitious growth plans yet, this ranking is the perfect benchmark against which to measure our progress. I’ve never been more excited about the future of this agency than I am today.”
