UES Charity Golf Day returns to support local charity
UES has announced the return of its much-anticipated annual charity golf day in support of Sporting Family Change (SFC).
With a few team spaces still available, the building services company is inviting purpose-driven organisations to get involved while they can.
SFC is a South West-based charity dedicated to spreading kindness and empowering communities through sport. Their mission focuses on creating opportunities for families, children, and young people to improve confidence, wellbeing, and personal growth.

One of their initiatives, Kindness in Education, supports children and young people in schools by providing mentoring, accessible counselling, and wellbeing programmes. These services are designed to help students thrive both inside and outside the classroom.
But SFC’s work doesn’t stop at education. Their Ocean of Kindness initiative, launched in February 2025, encourages people to take part in simple acts of kindness using their “kindness cards” – creating a ripple effect of positive action throughout Bristol.
They also support a wide range of inspiring activities, from helping college students create short films about kindness to enabling others to take on life-changing challenges like climbing Mount Kilimanjaro or running the New York Half Marathon.
Additionally, they host inclusive free social clubs for young adults with learning difficulties.
SFC is a charity rooted in action and compassion, making a real and lasting difference across the South West.
UES has said that it is honoured to support charitable organisations such as Sporting Family Change, whose values are closely aligned with its own commitment to community impact and social responsibility.
Following the success of last year’s event, which raised £5,000 for Sporting Family Change, UES is once again hosting its annual charity golf day on July 24 at Bowood Hotel, Spa and Golf Resort.
Adam Griffiths, managing director at UES, said: “We’ve had an amazing response from Bristol businesses, supporting us to help raise as much as possible for Sporting Family Change.”
This includes support from companies such as Bristol Beer Factory, Urban Creation and Bristol Beacon, all of whom have generously donated prizes for the day.

Adam added: “Events like this wouldn’t be possible without the generous support of people in our network who genuinely care about causes like Sporting Family Change.”
