Top talent to headline Women’s Rugby World Cup 2025 Fan Zone
Bristol’s Harbourside will come alive this September as the city hosts the official Women’s Rugby World Cup 2025 Fan Zone, running 13 to 14 and 19 to 20 September at Canon’s Marsh Amphitheatre.
The free event blends world-class rugby with live music, circus, dance, art and family-friendly activities – all timed around knockout matches at Ashton Gate Stadium.
BBC Introducing artist Hunny Buzz headlines the second weekend, joined by rising grassroots talent from Creative Youth Network and high-energy workshops from AE Dance. The first weekend kicks off with live quarter-final screenings and circus performances programmed by Circus City during halftime.

Helen Godwin, mayor of the West of England, said: “Hosting the Women’s Rugby World Cup is a landmark moment for Bristol and the West – and our Fan Zone ensures that everyone can be part of it. This is not only a celebration of world-class sport, but also a showcase of our region’s incredible creativity, culture and community.”
Away from the stage, the Fan Zone will feature giant interactive sculptures by Bristol robotics studio Air Giants, roaming circus acts, live mural painting by local artist Melo, and hands-on workshops.
Street food curated by Buoy Events will spotlight Bristol’s female-led traders, alongside a central bar. Travel is made easy with special ferry services linking Temple Meads, the Amphitheatre and Underfall Yard near Ashton Gate.

Hosting duties go to former England international Amber Reed and Welsh rising star Jenna De Vera, bringing insight and energy between matches and performances.
Delivered in partnership with Visit West, Bristol City Centre BID, Bristol City Council, the West of England Mayoral Combined Authority, Redcliffe & Temple BID and a host of local organisations, the organisers believe that Fan Zone showcases Bristol’s commitment to inclusion, creativity and cultural celebration.

Sabrina Shutter, project events manager at Bristol city centre bid, added: “The Fan Zone is about more than rugby. It’s a platform for artists, businesses and performers to shine, while drawing thousands of people into the city centre. With its mix of free entertainment, local food and international sport, this is a powerful moment for Bristol – culturally and economically.”
