Nominations open to recognise community heroes
Do you know someone in Easton or Lawrence Hill who always goes the extra mile? Someone who quietly makes a difference, supports their community, or inspires others through kindness and dedication?
Now is your chance to give them the recognition they deserve.
Nominations are officially open for the Thank You Awards 2025, an annual celebration of the unsung heroes who live, work or study in Easton and Lawrence Hill.
Organised by Eastside Community Trust, the awards honour individuals who make a positive impact in their communities, whether they’re running a local group, volunteering behind the scenes, offering support to neighbours or simply spreading joy in everyday ways.

To nominate someone, complete the short nomination form available online. The nominations close at midnight on Sunday 21 September 2025. Please note that both the person submitting the nomination and the nominee must be available to attend the awards event.
This year’s ceremony will take place on Thursday 23 October 2025 from 6pm at the Trinity Arts Centre on Trinity Road. The evening promises to be a heartfelt celebration of the people who help make Easton and Lawrence Hill such vibrant and caring communities.
