Dial A Geek publishes its ’empowering’ impact report

By Bristol24/7  Tuesday May 6, 2025

Bristol-based managed service provider (MSP) and certified B Corporation, Dial A Geek, has published its 2025 Impact Report – showcasing another year of purpose-driven work supporting local organisations and advancing sustainable IT across the South West and beyond.

At the heart of this year’s report captures the company’s continued commitment to making technology more sustainable, inclusive, and human-focused.

Whether it’s helping organisations streamline their operations with secure cloud systems, or guiding businesses through the journey to B Corp certification, Dial A Geek aims to be a force for good.

Supporting the community through tech

As part of its annual pro bono commitment, Dial A Geek provided full email migration services for St Paul’s Carnival, helping the cultural organisation modernise its systems and improve efficiency ahead of the city’s iconic event. This work forms part of a long-standing goal to use tech expertise in support of local causes and non-profits.

“Every year we allocate time and resources to support a cause that’s meaningful to our team and our city,” said Gildas Jones, managing director of Dial A Geek. “St Paul’s Carnival plays such a huge role in Bristol’s cultural life – we were proud to help them behind the scenes.”

Planting trees and protecting the Amazon

In 2025, Dial A Geek continued its environmental initiatives in partnership with climate action platform Ecologi. The company planted 1,825 trees over the course of the year – one for every seat under management – directly offsetting the carbon footprint of the cloud services used by its clients.

Ecologi is a conservation project in the Brazilian Amazon, aimed at protecting rainforest areas from deforestation and preserving vital carbon sinks. You can read more about the project here.

These actions form part of Dial A Geek’s broader approach to reducing the environmental impact of technology and encouraging their clients to do the same.

A business with a bigger purpose

As a certified B Corp, Dial A Geek balances profit with purpose. From offering private dental insurance to its team, to supporting businesses on their own sustainable IT journeys, the company continues to prove that ethical, people-focused business practices can go hand in hand with technical excellence.

“We’ve always believed that IT should empower people – not just improve systems,” said Gildas. “Whether it’s through sustainable infrastructure, better security, or strategic support, we’re helping businesses grow in a way that’s responsible and resilient.”

If your business is exploring more sustainable ways to grow – or looking to build a tech setup that’s future-ready, contact the team at Dial A Geek today. The team has already helped over 1,000 businesses in Bristol and across the UK grow smarter with tech.
