Business Improvement District launches ‘12 Days of Bristmas’
A new festive campaign is giving Bristolians the chance to win exclusive, “money-can’t-buy” experiences that celebrate the city’s creativity and independent spirit.
Launched this week, “12 Days of Bristmas” is the first major Christmas campaign from the newly unified Bristol BID.
Anyone who buys a Love Bristol Gift Card between November 18 and Christmas Eve will be entered into a prize draw offering 12 unique Bristol experiences.

The first four prizes have now been revealed. They include:
- A bespoke mural for the winner’s home painted by a lead UPFEST artist
- Backstage access to a live show at Bristol Beacon
- A comedy writing session – plus the chance to perform – at The Gaffe, the city’s newest comedy venue
- A private Bristol Ferry tour for the winner and friends
Further prizes, from food-led adventures to creative masterclasses, will be announced each week in the run-up to Christmas. The Love Bristol Gift Card, accepted at more than 190 independent businesses, also supports the city centre at its most important trading time of the year.
Anna Farthing, interim head of place at Bristol BID, said: “12 Days of Bristmas is about connecting with the beating heart of Bristol. These are experiences you can’t buy off the shelf. They’re about the people, places and passions that make this city what it is, and we’re thrilled to be able to invite people into that world.”

The campaign forms part of a wider festive programme, including Bristol BID’s Winter Lights – illuminating the city until February – and expanded Christmas lights stretching across Park Street, Broadmead, College Green and the Harbourside.
Seasonal events will also take place at St George’s, St Mary Redcliffe and Cabot Circus, which is hosting family activities including Santa O’Clock and the return of 15-foot Elf on the Shelf, Isambard Kingdom Brunelf.
