One of the key events that spotlighted this venue’s capabilities was a recent cooking demonstration and talk led by The Happy Pear, a beloved plant-based food duo. This high-energy event sold out in no time, with 80 tickets quickly snapped up by eager fans.
Despite facing a last-minute change in venue, Tobacco Factory’s event coordinator, Catherine, and her team worked tirelessly to transform The Loft into the perfect setting for Steve and Dave of The Happy Pear to engage with their passionate followers.

The success of The Happy Pear’s event didn’t stop there. It helped cement The Loft’s reputation as a prime location for influencer-led events, prompting an exciting follow-up enquiry.
Luinluland, a self-described “53-year-old accidental influencer” and advocate for empowering women in mid-life, has also chosen The Loft for her next event. Lu will host two events in May, starting with a show in Tobacco Factory’s famous Yard under the Tent & Terrace, followed by a clothes swap party the next evening in The Loft.
