Bristol IT firm launches AI support service to help SMEs
A Bristol-based cyber security firm has launched a new managed service aimed at helping small and medium-sized businesses navigate the safe rollout of workplace AI tools such as Microsoft 365 Copilot and Google Gemini.
Dial A Geek, a long-established tech support provider and Certified B Corp company, unveiled its Managed AI Service — targeting organisations with 20 or more employees that want to adopt AI responsibly while maintaining data security and compliance.
With AI technologies becoming deeply integrated into daily business tools like SharePoint, Teams and Google Drive, many businesses are struggling to keep up with best practices, governance and risk management.

“We’re seeing business leaders being told they need to ‘get on board with AI’, but not given the clarity, controls or policies to do so safely,” said Yusra Shaeik, technical director at Dial A Geek.
“This service is about providing ongoing support and oversight — not just a one-off install.”
The Managed AI Service includes:
- Secure deployment of Microsoft 365 Copilot or Google Gemini
- Monthly usage and licence reviews
- Governance tuning for SharePoint, Teams and Google Drive
- Quarterly AI risk assessments and policy updates
- Guidance on prompts, plugins and emerging AI tools
The offer is already being adopted by firms in the legal, creative, and financial sectors and is available nationwide — not just in Bristol. A free AI readiness audit is currently being offered to help businesses assess their preparedness for AI integration.
The package is included at no extra charge for clients on Dial A Geek’s existing Protect & Grow Plus plan, which already provides Cyber Essentials alignment, 24/7 threat monitoring and dedicated account management.
Dial A Geek, which has supported over 1,000 SMEs across the UK, is both an NCSC-accredited Cyber Advisor and an advocate for sustainable, ethical tech use.
“Our clients want to move with the times, but in a way that protects their team and their data,” said Shaeik. “That’s where we come in.”
