Brit director Shola Amoo‘s follow-up to his drama about gentrification in Brixton, A Moving Image, is a Moonlight-esque coming-of-age story exploring pivotal points in the life of young British-Nigerian boy Femi (Tai Golding).
Fostered by a white woman, he enjoys an idyllic upbringing. Alas, this is shattered when his birth mother shows up to reclaim him. The director will be present for a Q&A after the Watershed’s preview screening on Monday 16 September.
