Perhaps best known for Star Wars: Episode VIII – The Last Jedi, actor turned writer-director Aki Omoshaybi‘s well received, Portsmouth-set feature debut, in which he also stars, follows the blossoming romance between two twentysomethings.
Sparks swiftly fly between well-dressed Kyle (Omoshaybi) and the equally poised Jamie (Pippa Bennett-Warner), but beneath their composure they’re each struggling to escape hardships they’re endured, which threaten to scupper their relationship before it has begun.
