Bears coach to run from Bristol to Cardiff in memory of his daughter
A coach at Bristol Bears will be running 44 miles from Bristol to Cardiff ahead of the Bears game against Bath on Saturday.
Academy transition coach Glen Townson is taking part in the ultramarathon to raise money for the Amber Townson Foundation, set up in memory of his daughter .
The charity was set up following Amber passing away with Sudden Unexplained Death in Childhood (SUDC) when she was only two.

Townson’s run will end with him delivering the match ball onto the pitch at the Principality Stadium ahead of kick-off on Saturday afternoon.
“The collaboration with the club exemplifies the power of community coming together to support a worthy cause,” Townson said.
