The charity was set up following Amber passing away with Sudden Unexplained Death in Childhood (SUDC) when she was only two.

Townson’s run will end with him delivering the match ball onto the pitch at the Principality Stadium ahead of kick-off on Saturday afternoon.

“The collaboration with the club exemplifies the power of community coming together to support a worthy cause,” Townson said.

“This event is testament to the strength and compassion of the Bristol sporting community.

“Inspiration and hope, this ultramarathon is more than just a physical feat; it’s a symbol of resilience, hope and the unwavering determination to make a difference.

“It’s a story that will hopefully resonate with readers and viewers, inspiring them to take action.”
