Champion skimboarder shows off his skills in Bristol
Usually seen full of children splashing about during the summer months and once home to two wicker whales, one of the water features in Millennium Square recently played host to a champion skimboarder.
Adrien Raza posted two videos of his visit to Bristol to his almost one million followers on YouTube.
The four-time European champion started his urban skimboarding session at the Las Iguanas side of the square, throwing his board underneath the short bridge close to the side entrance of We The Curious before catching up with it and then making the short journey along the top of the water, ducking to avoid the planetarium.

“I found a fountain made for skimboarding,” Raza titled his first video.
“I got kicked out after this!” said his second.
Born in France and based in the Netherlands, Raza has been described as “the godfather of urban skimboarding”.
Raza’s most popular YouTube videos have got hundreds of millions of views and he also had his own clothing range and branded skimboards.
