Bristol-born judoka wins Olympics bronze

Olympic bronze medallist Sally Conway may now live in Scotland but she began her judo career at the age of eight at her local club in Thornbury

The Bristol-born fighter defeated Austria’s Bernadette Graf to finish third in the under-70kg competition

“It hasn’t sunk in,” she told BBC Sport. “I knew if I was going to come away with a medal I would have to put in my best performances.
