In photos: Bristol Triathlon 2025

There was a surreal moment during the run leg of the Bristol Triathlon when bleary-eyed partygoers making their way back from a rave in Leigh Woods shared the Pill path with competitors.

Some of the the runners were straining every sinew for a podium place or personal best; others were just happy to be there.

Prior to the run, the swim had taken place in the waters of the Cumberland Basin and the bike leg took triathletes along the Portway which was closed to cars.
