Bristol Bears and Bristol City end Huboo sponsorships midway through seasons
Bristol Bears and Bristol City will have new logos on the front of their shirts for the rest of their respective seasons.
It comes after fulfilment specialists Huboo, who have been the rugby and football teams’ principal sponsors since 2022, failed to fulfil their side of the bargain in their sponsorship arrangements with Bristol Sport, the umbrella organisation who run Bears and City’s men’s and women’s teams.
In December, Bristol24/7 revealed that Huboo had been sold and appointed administrators.

The “e-commerce fulfilment technology company” is now owned by an investor consortium led by Baaj Capital and AB Capital.
An official notice published on Christmas Eve 2024 reported that Huboo had appointed administrators but a Huboo spokesperson said “the administration process and the acquisition… are designed to ensure continuity of our operations”.

In a short statement published on club websites on Thursday, Bristol Sport said they have “ended its partnership with Huboo after the company failed to fulfil the terms of the sponsorship agreement”.
Bristol Sport CEO Gavin Marshall said: “Huboo will now be replaced on the front of the match shirts for Bristol City and Bristol Bears men and women’s teams with immediate effect.
“We look forward to announcing our new front of shirt partners for the remainder of the season ahead of this weekend’s fixtures.”
