The impact of climate anxiety in Bristol

Following the increase in recurring extreme weather due to the declared climate emergency, worries about what the future holds for our planet are becoming more and more prevalent.

Climate anxiety, defined as a chronic fear of environmental doom, can take different shapes and can comprise a wide range of feelings.

In episode 76 of the Behind the Headlines podcast, we speak to Dr Dan O’Hare, an educational psychologist and senior lecturer at the University of Bristol who recently published a paper on the climate crisis and its impact on young people.
