Retired GP found guilty of obstruction of freight train
Filton-based retired GP, Dr. Diana Warner, has been found guilty of obstruction of the trainline.
Warner, 65 had been walking down a railway line outside Drax Power Station in order to prevent trains from reaching the power station in Selby, North Yorkshire.
The climate protester can be seen in footage posted online wearing orange high-visibility clothing and waving an orange flag when a 400-metre long empty freight train stopped on December 14, 2021.

In a trial that took place at Leeds Crown Court between Monday and Wednesday she was found guilty of a single charge of obstructing an engine or carriage using a railway, contrary to the Malicious Damage Act 1861.
She will be sentenced on March 25.
