New light trail to illuminate Ashton Court

A new immersive light trail is coming to Ashton Court this festive season.

Luminate, the team behind the “mesmerising” trail, have experience of running popular installations across the UK, with Bristol’s display set for a November 28 opening and running until December 28.

The light trail is approximately 1.3km long and has more than a dozen displays and interactive elements, including 4,000 illuminated roses set to a musical medley and a 25-metre-long digital tunnel.

The Ashton Court event will host dog-friendly days, and will have dedicated evenings for those with Special Educational Needs.

Janine Maycock, part of the Luminate team, said: “We’re so excited to bring Luminate to Bristol.

“We are working towards becoming the world’s best festive light event and we work with exceptional talent in iconic locations to ensure Luminate is a fun and enchanting evening out.”
