Missing Luis Piovesana made 999 call before disappearing
Police divers and drone teams have joined the search for missing Luis Piovesana who has not been seen since the early hours of Friday morning.
Luis’ friends and family have helped in the hunt for the 26-year-old, with one of his friends finding his bag, phone and wallet at Eastgate Retail Park, which CCTV shows he discarded.
Luis was last seen by friends getting into a taxi outside the Jam Jar in St Jude’s at 2.55am. While in the taxi at 2.59am he made a call to his partner and left a voicemail.

At 3.03am, he made a 999 call to police which he ended after 34 seconds.
Attempts to call Luis back went unanswered so a text message was sent to his phone requesting he called to confirm he was safe, and police staff attempted to find where the phone call was made from.
At 3.04am, police received a call from somebody concerned for a man walking in the area close to junction 2 of the M32. Officers attended that call and carried out enquiries around the area but did not see the man in question.
CCTV footage shows Luis in multiple locations at Eastgate Retail Park between 3.15am and 3.30am, with the last confirmed sighting of him being on foot near the click & collect facility in the Tesco car park.

Luis was reported missing at 7.37am on Friday and an investigation was launched.
Since then, detectives, police officers and PCSOs have visited hundreds of homes and businesses in the area around where he was last seen.
Dozens of missing posters have been placed in the area, with hundreds of runners taking part in the Eastville Park parkrun on Saturday morning asked if they had any information about Luis.
Specially trained family liaison officers are supporting his family and continue to keep them updated on the investigation’s progress.
Police also say they have spoken to the taxi driver who dropped Luis off “and they have supported our enquiries”.
