M32 will close again this week

The stretch of the M32 between junctions 1 and 2 will be closed between the hours of 8pm-6am on Tuesday night and Wednesday night this week for further work to the new MetroBus bridge.

This is the third in a series of recent closures on the M32, which have been made as part of the construction of the MetroBus bridge, including closures over the weekends of June 22-23 and June 11-12.

Contractors this week will be removing structures which were used to lift the MetroBus bridge into place in June. Diversions for alternative routes will be clearly signposted.

Following from the peace and quiet after the closure in early June, a petition was launched to close the motorway once a year to host a giant street party for the residents who live alongside the dual carriageway.
