Although temperatures reached more than 30℃, thousands gathered at the Downs on Saturday to mark Bristol Pride Day.

Festivities kicked off at around midday, around the time when the annual Pride Day parade through the city centre was coming to a close.

Festival-goers enjoyed music from the likes of Allie X, Kim Wilde and Ultra Naté as well as an array of drag performances from everyone from Snow White Trash to Brooke Lynn Hytes.

Although Bristol Pride’s main event – the festival on the Downs – ended on Saturday, there are still several events yet to take place which have been funded by Bristol Pride’s community fund.

This includes a creative foraging workshop set to take place on July 19.
