Help bring back Bemmy Lanterns
Bedminster Winter Lantern Parade – known to everyone as Bemmy Lanterns – is south Bristol’s biggest creative community event.
But its future is in doubt.
And that is why a crowdfunder has now been launched to help bring back the hugely popular event to the streets of BS3.
The theme for the 2025 event is ‘Bristolians, together’ which organisers hope “will bring to life the pride and inclusiveness of our wonderful city”.
“We want everyone to be able to take part in 2025 parade and have access to a free cultural activity, whether participating in a creative workshop at school or with their community group or in the parade.
“Help us make it happen… Please donate whatever you can afford – big or small – our donations together will soon add up so we can bring Bemmy Lanterns back.”
