Gromit Unleashed 3 sculpture trail locations revealed
Gromiteers will have to put in the miles this summer to tick off all of the sculptures on the Gromit Unleashed trail.
The third trail takes place from June 30 to August 31 and encompasses several locations not even envisaged during the previous two iterations.
The new neighbourhood of Brabazon on the site of the former Filton Airfield will get one sculpture with another – Beagle 3 designed by Tim Sutcliffe – on display at the neighbouring Aerospace Bristol, home to the last Concorde to fly.

Staying in South Glos and there will also be sculptures at The Wave, Cribbs shopping centre and the Kendleshire golf club in Coalpit Heath.
In south Bristol, sculptures will be placed at locations including Ashton Gate, North Street and Victoria Park; and there will be photo opportunities at some of our city’s most famous landmarks including the Clifton Suspension Bridge, Park Street and St Mary Redcliffe Church.

The Grand Appeal director, Nicola Masters, said: “As we’re moving closer to the trail launch, the excitement and anticipation from fans far and wide builds and builds.
“We’re incredibly excited to announce all the locations where you will be able to find sculptures on the trail, stretching from College Green to Cheddar Gorge, Warmley to The Wave and Puxton Park to Pucklechurch.
“We cannot wait to get all these incredible sculptures onto the streets of Bristol and beyond.
“Each sculpture is uniquely designed by international film studios, film directors, classic British cultural treasures, celebrities and brilliant local artist talent to transform locations throughout Bristol into an open-air art gallery, inviting people of all ages to explore, discover and connect.
“Beyond the creativity and fun, Gromit Unleashed 3 represents a powerful cause raising vital funds for The Grand Appeal, the Bristol Children’s Hospital Charity.
“With every step, photo and donation, the trail brings the community together in a shared mission of supporting sick babies and children from Bristol, the South West and beyond.”
