By Ben Behrens  Monday Feb 13, 2017

Further details and images have been released for the proposed redevelopment of Temple Quarter by architecture firm Grimshaw.

The proposed Engine Shed 02, which would provide 43,000 sq ft of column-free, adaptable space ideal for young businesses and start-ups, is on the site of the currently derelict George and Railway Hotels.

The development is also set to provide a stronger link between Temple Meads and the city centre, with a new public square and walkway The Brunel Mile prioritising cyclists and pedestrians. Grimshaw say the development will unlock new space and potential of an area in need of revitalisation.
