City centre steps closed for repairs
Steps close to one of Banksy’s most famous murals in Bristol could be closed for repairs until the end of August.
The connection from Park Street to Frogmore Street has been fenced off at both ends.
The steps between Fluffy Fluffy and Pizzarova on Park Street, and Sergio’s on Frogmore Street, are near the Well Hung Lover mural by Banksy which was painted in 2006.

According to the one.network map, works will be taking place until August 31.
During the closure, damaged and loose masonry coping stones will be repaired as well as ironwork railings.
Damage to the stonework is clearly visible on the steps, once next to a building that was never rebuilt after being destroyed in a huge gas explosion in 1976.
