Video: Cadbury’s sign comes down

A timelapse video of the removal of the classic Cadbury’s sign from the old factory building in Keynsham has gone up online, documenting the symbolic moment the sign hit the ground two weeks ago as part of a redevelopment project.

The Somerdale Factory closed its doors for the very last time in March 2011, and is now in the process of being converted into a St Monica’s Trust retirement community, due to open in spring 2017.
