STAND UP FOR THE WEEK: JOHN HASTINGS & CO: Headliner this weekend is known for appearances on Radio 4 and Russell Howard’s Good News. Comedy Box at the Hen and Chicken, 8.45pm. 

WAKIZASHI FESTIVAL: With a focus on the leftfield side of music, bands playing include Get The Blessing, Hysterical Injury and Drone Soul. Malthouse Studio, 12pm. 

O&O: THE GOOD STUFF: A new, hour-long sketch show focusing on the hilarity of the little moments we pass by each day. Bristol Improv Theatre, 8pm. 

PHANTOM BOY: Animated French film about an 11-year-old boy who can fly. Watershed, 2pm.
