SHEXTREME FILM FESTIVAL: After a sell-out fest at The Cube last year, Shextreme is back to celebrate women’s extreme sports. Arnolfini, 7pm. 

COCKTAILS ON A BUS: Learn about the history of Bristol while supping delicious cocktails. Two journeys depart from outside the Milk Thistle at 7pm and 8.30pm.

BRISTOL REGGAE ORCHESTRA: The orchestra that has brought together hundreds of musicians from diverse backgrounds to connect, develop and perform high quality music. Colston Hall Foyer, 6.15-7.15pm.

KAT & ROMAN KOSTRZEWSKI/ SUPPORT: Bristol welcomes one of the most important thrash metals bands to come out of Poland. Exchange, 6.30pm.

BRISTOL AUTUMN CARNIVAL: Love Kulture Project & Shabba are working with Rampage Sound, one of Notting Hill Carnivals biggest stages to bring the carnival spirit to Lakota. 

THEATRE JAM: Bristol Improv Theatre’s social night of improvised theatre games and scenes. Bristol Improv Theatre, 8pm. 

QUESTIONING THE DEAD: Artist Marcus Coates leads an artistic chorus in the cemetery, asking questions of the dead that we can’t answer. Arnos Vale Cemetery, 6.30-7.30pm. 

DREAMGIRLS + SOUL SISTER NO. 1 AFTER-PARTY: Bill Condon’s 2006 adaptation of the Broadway musical starring Beyonce, Jennifer Hudson, Jamie Foxx and more. Watershed, 8.30pm. 

CATHY: Cardboard Citizens, who work making theatre with and for homeless people, perform their one-off theatrical re-staging of Ken Loach’s seminal work Cathy Come Home. Trinity, 7pm.

ORCHESTRA OF THE AGE OF ENLIGHTENMENT: The orchestra help St. George’s to celebrate its 30th birthday by playing a range of music from different eras. St. George’s, 7pm. 

I, DANIEL BLAKE: The Jeremy Corbyn of UK cinema, Ken Loach, directs this angry, humane Austerity Britain drama. Watershed.
