Creating opportunities for young people is very important to Bristol24/7, and our work experience programme with the editorial team is part of that.

Illustrator Parys Gardener recently joined us for work experience, working on several projects, including profiles of prominent members of the Windrush generation for a feature on Black History Month.

We were so impressed with her work that we commissioned her to design this month’s front cover.
