Tattoo-inspired clothing brand to move to St Nick’s Market

By Kieran Maxted  Thursday Jul 10, 2025

Bon Clothing Printing Co, a characteristically Bristol screen-printed clothing business, has recently revealed they will be relocating from their current HQ in Bedminster.

Husband and wife duo Flo and Josh Camacho-Clowes co-founded Bon Clothing in 2020 during the pandemic.

At first it was a side-hustle, with Josh holding multiple part-time jobs over the years, including a stint as a barista, to make the business financially viable.

Now the couple work on Bon Clothing full-time and describe it as “a reflection of their lives, their passions and the things that keep their spirits alive”.

Indeed, Flo, who has previously worked as a sign maker and sign painter, studied Graphic Design at university and has been screen-printing since she was 13 years old. Her mother was a university screen-printing lecturer.

Bon Clothing Co’s designs are influenced by tattoo culture and include a range of slick textured shirts, sweatshirts and headwear – all embellished with fiery designs.

An environmentally conscious business, Bon Clothing primarily uses hand-crafted organic clothing materials and both Flo and Josh work hard to uphold eco-friendly ethical standards.

Water-based inks are used for all the screen-printing at Bon Clothing and any shirts used are bought in the hundreds, rather than the thousands, to keep clothing waste minimal.

However, after five years in Bedminster, Bon Clothing will soon move from a shared space to a studio they can call their own in St Nick’s, a move which Josh says “has been in the pipeline as a dream for a long time”.

Josh and Flo hope to host one-on-one printing classes at the new studio as well as regularly host parties.

Josh added: “My first ever job was at St Nick’s. It’s cool how it’s come full circle.”

The new studio will open to the public on August 1.
