Meg Cox, Clothemod founder, has partnered with Smart Works for the event, a charity which helps unemployed women access the clothing, coaching and confidence needed to enter the workforce.
The collection for Clothemod’s fourth fashion show is inspired by the 1966 Czech film, Daisies, a feminist film about two best friends playing pranks on each other and getting up to mischief.
Cox also sought inspiration from bluebells which, hidden for most of the year, dramatically come into bloom in April and May.
She said “both (Daisies and bluebells) are audacious in their own way. That’s the attitude embodied in this collection; of owning your own identity.”

The event promises themed baked goods from vegan bakery, Busy V Bakery and all attendees can expect a complimentary drink, a goodie bag and opportunities to buy clothes from the collection.
The event will take place at Ashton Court Mansion, where there will also be a best-dressed competition for whichever attendee is wearing the best outfit.
Attendees will also have the opportunity to meet the designers involved.
Cox has committed that ticket sales profits will go towards fairly paying all those involved in running the event, hoping to end a culture in the fashion industry where workers often go unpaid.
