World’s biggest ant exhibition coming to Bristol
The world’s largest ant keeping event is coming to Bristol.
Ant Exhibition UK is organising a fun and informative event all about ants and other insects at Wellsway Sports Centre in Keynsham on August 5.
An exhibit area will be featuring a range of brilliant bugs to learn about, from Asian Bullet Ants to Leaf Cutter Ants, while lectures and presentations will be available across several stages.

For the younger crowd, Ant Exhibition UK will be providing face painters, ice cream vans and a host of other entertainment on site to make the day truly memorable for the family. A raffle is also being offered for eventgoers to enjoy.
As well as live demonstrations, The Great Ant Exhibition also features a fully inclusive trade section where vendors of exotic products will be showcasing their wares. The event will be hosting local talent, startup businesses and wildlife charities alongside established traders – including Ants on a Rock, AntsRus, the Invert Sanctum, Arachnamoria, Herpmania, BazAnts, Ant Farm Supplies and more.
The day offers the opportunity for hands-on educational experiences for any ages, and the organisers hope it can help those with fears of ants, spiders and other creepy-crawlies.
Profits will be put towards future shows and supporting the local community, as well as being donated to charities and research projects.
