Wahaca is coming to Bristol

By Beth Longville  Friday Apr 24, 2015

Wahaca are set to bring their Mexican delights to Queen’s Road as early as July.

The restaurant that takes its inspiration from Mexican street food markets was founded by former Masterchef winner Thomasina Miers and Mark Selby.

Signage has now appeared on a site on the Triangle that was most recently Butlers announcing Wahaca’s imminent arrival and that they are looking for staff.

Wahaca sources many ingredients directly from Mexico where the growing chain supports local farming communities and family-run businesses, as well as sourcing other ingredients from as locally as possible,

Their desire to reduce their environmental footprint has resulted in them being voted Sustainable Restaurant Group of the Year award in both 2012 and 2013.
