New fielding game at Bristol’s cricket-themed bar
If you see yourself as more Jonty Rhodes than Joe Root, then a new specialist fielding game at a cricket-themed bar in Bristol is for you.
Sixes is just a slog sweep from Pero’s Bridge, located above Coyote Ugly.
The bar has already proved popular for batting challenges but now you can also practise your catching and throwing.
is needed now More than ever
Sixes are calling Catch & Throw “the UK’s first immersive cricket fielding experience”, with players having to catch or stop a ball and then immediately throw it at lit-up targets.
More experienced players can compete at the same time with younger cricketers with the skill level able to be changed for each participant who steps into the net.

Sixes co-founder, Calum Mackinnon, said: “Launching Catch & Throw, our first fielding game mode, is truly a dream come true for Sixes.
“We built Sixes throughout Covid and, at the time, getting batting over the line was a momentous win in itself.
“But we’d always dreamt of capturing the drama and theatre from the field as an alternative experience, and now it’s here!
“What we’ve created with our fielding game mode is incredibly fun; it’s going to make for many a hilarious evening!
“That’s our mission at the end of the day, bringing crowds together for good times shared through the thrill of party cricket.”
