Lost & Grounded collaborate with Martin Parr for trio of unique beers

By Martin Booth  Tuesday Mar 12, 2019

A brilliant Bristol brewery has joined forces with a brilliant Bristol photographer for a trio of beers that look good enough to sit behind a glass display case in a gallery – after being drunk of course.

Lost & Grounded‘s collaboration with Martin Parr coincides with Parr’s new exhibition Only Human at the National Portrait Gallery in London.

The three label designs on the glass bottles were handpicked from the collection of Parr, whose Martin Parr Foundation in the Paintworks is less than a mile from Lost & Grounded’s brewery in St Anne’s.

Lost & Grounded co-founder and creative lead Annie Clements worked alongside Bristol graphic designer Sam Davis, the Martin Parr Foundation and the National Portrait Gallery to create the limited edition gift box of lagers, that are only for sale at the exhibition.

Only Human: Photographs By Martin Parr is at the National Portrait Gallery until May 27. For more information, visit www.npg.org.uk/whatson/only-human-martin-parr/exhibition.
