Former Pret A Manger to become independent cafe

The owners of a cafe on Clare Street say they are “thrilled” to be opening in a second location.

Hatter House will be opening soon in Broadmead in a unit that was previously a Pret A Manger.

“We can’t wait to welcome you to your new favourite spot for delicious treats, great coffee and good vibes,” say the Hatter House team.

Hatter House opened on Clare Street between the Centre and Corn Street in 2019 serving hot drinks alongside nitro cold brew, ice cream and waffles.

Before it was a Pret A Manger, the unit on the corner of Union Street opposite Odeon was a branch of Thomas Cook travel agent.
