Crufts-inspired Dogs’ Day returns to taproom
A Dogs’ Day event, inspired by the popular dog show Crufts, is returning to a taproom on Saturday.
The event will once again take place at the Lost & Grounded taproom on Whitby Road in Brislington for the fourth consecutive year.
Organisers believe the event is the perfect opportunity to combine a love of dogs and beer in a friendly setting, with prizes to be won for the furry participants.

The prizes include “Bestest Boy,” “Goodest Girl,” and the prestigious accolade of “Best in Show”.

The afternoon of competitions will also feature a raffle and a photo shoot. Proceeds from ticket sales will go to support StreetVet UK, a charity that provides much-needed care to the pets of people experiencing homelessness across the UK, including covering the cost of medical bills and life-saving surgeries.

Portraits of these furry friends will be proudly displayed on the cans of a special beer brewed specifically for the occasion. A share of the sales will also go to StreetVet UK. So far, nearly £2,000 has been raised for the charity, which has been a lifeline for many pets who have found themselves in unfortunate situations.
The event will kick off at 1pm on Saturday and continue into the late evening, wrapping up at 10 pm. Tickets are £5, granting access to all the afternoon’s competitions. In addition to ticket sales, £1 from each pint sold on the day will also be donated to StreetVet.
