Celebrating the success of StreetSmart in Bristol
Bristol restaurants raised more than £22,000 for StreetSmart in 2024.
The campaign once again raised funds to tackle homelessness by collecting £1 donations from diners in the build-up to Christmas.
One of Bristol’s participating restaurants, Bianchis in Montpelier, has now been inducted into the StreetSmart hall of fame, awarded to businesses who have gone over and above for the charity.

Dom Borel (pictured top-right), who co-owns the Bianchis group with Ben Harvey (pictured top-left) said: “Since opening our first restaurant Pasta Loco, Ben and I used our platform of bringing people together to also harness community spirit.
“Born and raised in Bristol, which faces ongoing challenges, we were approached by Pam Lloyd who runs StreetSmart in our city and saw we’d be keen on supporting such an important issue.
“We look forward to helping in the future and are proud to work with likeminded professionals with big hearts.”

Caper & Cure owner Giles Coram added: “Working with StreetSmart each year has been incredibly rewarding.
“The donations are really simple to collect, and customers, very generously, often donate more than the voluntary amount.
“To know that 100 per cent of the donation goes directly to the people that need it the most, makes StreetSmart an incredibly valuable charity for the homeless and vulnerable people in Bristol and beyond.”
